SEAFOOD GRILLE Let yourself be graciously overwhelmed by our 7 Seas Seafood Grille restaurant, one of the "best kept" secrets in the San Jose area. Its location on the beach allows for views of the Pacific Ocean that enhance your dining experience. Our culinary proposal is a delicious and inventive seafood cuisine with eclectic style made with fresh ocean products from our Baja coast (seafood, fish, shellfish).
There are many many fine restaurants in the Cabo area. As part time locals, have eaten at most all of them over the years. El Farallon at the Waldorf property has an excellent view and good food, Agua at One and Only Palmilla also a fine dining experience. But to my mind they are both “stupid expensive.” The 7 Seas is a bit farther towards San Jose for us, we are in the down town Cabo San Lucas area, but completely worth the travel. They have a lovely eastern view, if possible arrive for sunset. In case you do not, we didn’t, the beach below the restaurant is illuminated. There is something cathartic about listening to the waves lapping at the shore. Music is available on weekends, but the sound of the waves if best for me.
Upon arrival we were greeted warmly as we sauntered up the walkway. The maitre d’, Edgar, had our names at the ready and escorted us to our table for two overlooking the beach and Sea of Cortez. He introduced our wait staff, who were attentive with out being overbearing: Excellent service. I wish I could remember their names. Their recommendations were spot on. For my wife’s birthday dinner she had the catch of the day, sea bass. As most of the fish here are very fresh, I am sure this came straight off the boat. As the carnivore I am, I had the rack of lamb, perfectly prepared, rare, just as I requested. Delicious. It was on a bed of sweet potatoes, with some peppers and carrots. For me, they were just for artistic merrit points.
The wine list was extensive, but not pretentious. There were many decent values at “restaurant“ prices. Since my wife was celebrating with martinis, I went with wine by the glass. There were several choices, I went with the Anexlin Cab Sav. Very enjoyable and a good match for the lamb.
Since it was a birthday, they provide a slice of rum cake, complete with candle, on the house, for desert. We left happy and stuffed.
It was the best meal we have had in our 3 months in Cabo.

Dedicated professionals in our wedding department work into details to make magic in our beach wedding events. Due to its privileged beach cove location, the property has become a favorite wedding location in Los Cabos. For dining, the banquet facilities offered by the 7 Seas rank high in the area. The Executive Chef and the restaurant manager personally supervise the events. Available reception areas include: beach area, garden promenade, pool deck, shore wing terrace and palapa of the 7 Seas. The salon estheticians perform hairdos and make up as well put together spa parties. Every celebration is a welcome challenge for the Cabo Surf Weddings Team.
